Sports

We have made an overview of some of the sports you can do:

Water sports

What is your favourite water sport? Scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing, sailing, kite surfing, paddle board or kayaking?  We have looked up a few providers for you:

A native of Santa Pola, Iván Pastor Lafuente is a very well-known world-class Spanish windsurfer and occasionally gives surf clinics.

Cycling

Mountain biking, cycling or just exploring the area on a regular bike. It's all possible. If you want to hire a bike, we recommend you contact Costa Blanca Cycling. A number of mountain bike trails can be found here.

Diving and snorkelling

You can dive in several places along the coast. Please note that this is always under the supervision of or in consultation with a diving school, in connection with permits. In the area, these are the nearest diving schools.

If you prefer snorkelling, you can find some nice spots here.

Padel

For many, Padel is a mix of tennis and squash, and in Spain it has been a very popular sport for years. If you look carefully, you will always see a Padel court somewhere. Would you like to learn to play Padel or improve your game?  You can take private lessons or attend a clinic at Jeronimo Padel.

Crossfit

Spaniards are generally sporty people. You can see this in the diversity of sports on offer. Two Crossfit boxes can be found in the area.

Skatepark

Santa Pola itself has a Skate Park.  In this dedicated park, there is plenty of space for skaters, rollers, and BMX'ers where you can safely practice and further develop skills.

As you can see, there are lots of options for an active sports holiday.
